OUR WEDDING 3 (THANKSGIVING)

Hi Folks,

How are you doing? How was your week? Mine was challenging

After we did the traditional wedding, The next Saturday we were on our way to Ogun state for thanksgiving. We all thought it is going to be just church service but my people it was another wedding.

We got to the church a few minutes past 11, service had started already but the couple were yet to arrive. The couple came not too long and the service was done.

TO THE MAIN EVENT

We arrived at the reception and I was like this is another wedding reception. The hall was well decorated. This time, I came to relax and enjoy myself. The Grooms parents danced in followed by the bride's parents and then the couple. The waiters came to take our orders. As for me, I requested Ofada rice. We were also served small chops and asun. Even though I came to relax, I still had to pick money for the couple ✌🏾. After eating, it was time for the couple to dance. While they were dancing I was busy as usual picking money but at least I was able to dance with the couple and take pictures with them.

SOUVENIRS

The souvenirs shared was too much. Buckets, bowls, detergent, basket, parker, slippers, storage bowls, egg, bags, trays, jotter e.t.c. I can't remember most of it but it was too much

AFTER THE EVENT

We were taken to the hotel where we were going to spend the night. We got to the hotel and settled in but we still had to go and see the Olu of Ilaro. We all went to see the Olu of Ilaro and chatted till it was time to return to the hotel. Unfortunately, we didn't know the road back to the hotel so the Olu of Ilaro insisted that he would personally lead us there with his escort. He didn't only lead us there, he drove the vehicle and took us to the exact place we lodged. That's what I call humility. We passed the night at the hotel and the next morning which was Sunday, we attended the church at the palace, we ate and went to visit the latest couple. We returned to Lagos.

"Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will lift you up" James 4:10.

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather in humility value others above yourselves, Not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others" Phillipians 2:3 - 4.
